After an early start you travel to the Blue Mountains via the historic settlement of Windsor and then up the scenic Bells Line of Road past Kurrajong, Mt Banks, and then Mt Wilson. Here take a one hour bush walk into temperate rainforest to view and waterfall and experience this unique ecosystem. Why not then partake of a picnic-style morning tea.

You may explore the Blue Mountains as not experienced by mainstream tourists, via a series of back roads and forest trails. Finally arriving a hidden location we take a short walk to an ancient aboriginal rock art gallery. Afterwards you can travel on to the village of Blackheath for lunch.

You may travel to Echo Point/The Three Sisters via Narrowneck seeing the Megalong and Burragorang canyons. You may then drive along the edge of the escarpment to Wentworth Falls where a further short stroll takes you to view the falls and valley a thousand feet below. Finally it’s time to head home via the Great Western Highway, arriving back around 6:00pm.


TOUR NOTES
Uses four wheel drive transport to let you explore stunning bushland/mountain scenery and views, Sydney history (European and aboriginal), Australian plants and animals. The length of the bush walks are adjusted depending on the energy levels of the participants, climatic conditions, etc. The weather in this area is changeable (as with mountainous areas anywhere), however standby features will ensure that the tour is interesting and enjoyable in most conditions.

We recommend that you bring sturdy walking shoes, sun cream, hat, and sunglasses on this tour.
