After crossing the Harbour Bridge you proceed to Church Point via the Lower North Shore, and scenic Wakehurst Parkway. You may then enjoy morning tea at a waterfront restaurant, and travel by boat to nearby Elvina Bay where you can go for a bushwalk (approx 1.5hrs) within Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park before proceeding to West Head (within the National Park) for an inspection of aboriginal rock engravings. You may then return to the city via the northern suburbs.
TOUR NOTES Features excellent scenery and views (estuary and bushland) attractive residential suburbs, aboriginal culture and history, native foods, Australian plants. Includes scenic walk and short scenic cruise. Requires a good basic level of fitness. We recommend that you bring sturdy walking shoes, sun cream, hat and sunglasses on this tour. This tour visits the same area as MTP13 but includes an extended outdoor/bushwalking component within Ku-ring-gai National Park (as well as other variations).
