Cruising down the Georges River
After lunch you can drive around the shores of Botany Bay to La Perouse. You may then proceed on a bushwalk within Botany Bay National Park, including an inspection of historic buildings and fortifications. This part of the Park features dramatic sandstone cliffs (even with the visible remains of a shipwreck) and headland at the entrance to Botany Bay. Captain Cook's landing place (which forms another part of Botany Bay National Park) is clearly visible across the Bay.
TOUR NOTES This tour features attractive views and scenery (ocean, bay, river & bushland), early Sydney (European and aboriginal) history. We recommend that you bring sturdy walking shoes, sun cream, hat and sunglasses on this tour.
