Thank you for the email. I was wanting to viewit as I am related to all the Bickerstaffs of Steubenville and Jefferson COunty and my grgrgrandmother was Elizabeth Bickerstaff Nelson. I am trying to figure out who she was married to before my grgr grandfather John Thomas Nelson. Her obit said she had 12 children but she only had 3 with Nelson and I dont know who the other 9 were. I was told that she was married to an Alexander Bickerstaff who lived in Ritchey County, West Virginia but I havent found anything to hold that theory. My grgrgrandmother Elizabeth Bickerstaff came through the line of Augustine Bickerstaff and Elizabeth's son William Hoyt Bickerstaff who married Susanna Holmes. My grgr grandmother was their 4th child. I do know that my grgrgrandmother is shown in the 1860 census for Steubenville living with her parents and she had Isabella who was 2 at the time living with them as well as their daughter instead of the granddaughter. Isabella is the only other child that I know that my grgrgrandmother had besides the 3 she had with John Nelson. If you could help I would appreciate it very much.

I live in Jefferson COunty, Ohio and have tried to find information on Isabella and her obit doesnt mention anything about her father. My grgrgrandmothers obit says she had 12 children? Isabellas last name was bickerstaff and the last 3 children she had with my grgrgrandfather were named Nelson.
