My great, great, great grandfather is Adam Bickerstaff. Unfortunately, I know very little about him. It is possible he married my ggg grandmother, Ann Bradshaw, but I have not verified that. If they were married, it was probably after 1822. Anyway, the extent of my knowledge is as follows:

Ann had a daughter, Eliza BRADSHAW (b. ca1822, d. 16JUL1911, IL, USA; bap. 16MAY1821, St. John, Preston, LAN, ENG), who was my gg grandmother. Eliza m. John MAYOR 16AUG1840, Penwortham, Lancaster, ENG. Eliza and John had thirteen children.

It is not clear that Eliza was the biological daughter of Adam, but Adam is listed as the father of Eliza on her birth certificate. Some family records list Eliza as Eliza BICKERSTAFF, however the birth certificate lists her as Eliza BRADSHAW.
