Requests for specific Bickerstaff-related information
These folks have sent emails to me as they are generally seeking information about particular ancestors - please help them if you can.
Kenny Bickerstaff wrote to me in April 2007, saying:
Hey Bruce,
I saw this on your website...
"Bickerstaff of Glenavy Parish, County Antrim". Bruce Bickerstaff has this detailed three page document - please contact him (me) if it might be of interest. It relates to the period (approx) 1650 to 1850 and many of these Bickerstaff's lived in Lisburn near the border with County Down. It was passed on to him by an Australian descendant of this line of Bickerstaff's.
My Grandfather came from a few miles down the road out of Glenavy, I live there still!
My wife has done as much as she can with the family geneology - we're back to 1650 in Lisburn but are trying to confirm a few things.
That document you have sounds like it would tie up with a lot of our info! We've traced a few Bickerstaffs in the 1800s heading to Toronto, Canada with quite a large line of our family survived only through my father and now my younger brother Alan and myself.
Could you send me an electronic copy of that document?
Regards,
Kenny (kennybickerstaff (at) yahoo.co.uk)
Terris Temple wrote to me in January 2007, saying:Hi Bruce,
My name is Terris Temple, whose Mom (a Brown) asked me to find info on my Great grand-mom, Mary Ellen Bickerstaff, she thinks was from Missouri, married to a Thomas Roy Davis, and she past away circa 1945 in Tehachapi Ca. at a ripe old age, with many offsprings.
Anyway I found your site, and sending this in hopes of finding more for her on the Bickerstaff connection. My web site is www.tibetcolor.com. I am living in Thailand working in Tibet.

Margie Barnette from Hartville, Ohio (in the United States) wrote to me in May 2008 saying:Do you know this Pat Bickerstaffe?
Hello, I found your wonderful Bickerstaff website while surfing the internet and I am hoping you know the Pat Bickerstaffe in question.
My name is Margie LANE Barnette and the following post authored by Pat Bickerstaffe in response to a query I had placed on the Columbiana County GenForum site is very important to me. I have never had contact with anyone who knew of my Ggrandfather Isaac Head from England...and she says he was her GGgrandfather. I want to contact her as soon as possible.
I responded to her post as soon as I found her message...so far she has not responded and I fear she may have forgotten to what site the message was posted. The genealogy site hides the email address and I have no way of contacting Pat Bickerstaffe. If you do not know this person just ignore the email, however, if you do know her, would you please have her contact me at ClassyGram(at)neo.rr.com. Thank you for any time you give to this request.

This is the post as it appears on the site:
