Hi BruceI was just reading through your web site and saw a few postings from my cousin Steven in Canada. I am the grandson of James Bickerstaff/e, John Thomas' oldest son. Somehow we dropped the e from the last name, not sure why. My father was James Jr, and mother Margaret, who is celebrating her 80 birthday on July, 28. I have three sons, Adam James, Jonathan Dennis and James Alexander. My wife, Janice and I live in Connecticut. I would welcome contact with any other Bickerstaff's. I should mention, that compared with Steven, I know nothing of origins of our family. I think he has done an amazing job researching the family tree. If anyone would like to reach me my email is: dennis.bickerstaff(at)gmail.com

Hello Bruce,
I am Anna Bickerstaff. I was searching around on the internet at work when I decided to look up my father's, uncles', grandfather's, and my own name. It just so happened that I managed to find your site. My uncle (David Bickerstaff) wrote on your site back in 2000. He mentioned my other uncles and my father's name. William (my father) was doing extensive research on our genealogy back then. My father's family hails from W. Virgina. Upon meeting my mother, and spreading the bickerstaff seeds around, ended up with 4 children. Myself (the youngest) 21, Janette 25, William John 27, and Jaqueline 31.
Jacqueline and William John are currently residing in Hemet, CA. They both serve in the United States Marine Corps, and are currently stationed at Camp Pendleton. Janette is currently residing in Gulfport, Ms (where my father retired). I am currently serving in the United States Army, and stationed at Fort Polk, LA. I will be headed to the sandbox on the 1st of June. My father is currently retired in MN. He's enjoying it.
